This is not about washing dogs so much, but obtaining the rights to sell Franchises of a proven system and providing support for Franchisees in a office based environment. 
Funds required would depend on the Country, but as a guide most Country Master Licence (CML) would be sold for US$20,000+. This is a serious business with a potential turnover in the millions for the right person/s as Australia already has .

What is a CML
A CML is the person in charge of their particular Country! This means that we provide you with the systems and knowledge to operate the business and you then have the rights to sell franchises all over the Country that you have purchased. Some of the duties are outlined below:

  • Researching and coordinating the lay out of new territories within your Country.
  • Sourcing and forming strong business relationships with suppliers and manufacturers for the varying stock the franchisees will need to operate the business.
  • Researching advertising mediums and planning a marketing strategy and budget.
  • Developing and maintaining an adequate phone paging and communication system and dealing with any problems that arise with the communication network.
  • Streamlining and negotiating stock delivery procedures.
  • Investigate procedural requirements and develop strategies for new franchisees to open bank accounts, register their business and formulate good accounting practices
  • Ordering and maintaining stock inventory levels.
  • Deal with customer complaints and bring them to a satisfactory conclusion where possible.
  • Ensure standards and procedures are maintained throughout the group
  • Be an active participant in helping the franchisees develop sound business skills, people skills and ethics and ensuring the high standard of provision of customer services.
  • Maintain accounts with suppliers and invoicing franchisees for stock orders.
  • Assist purchasers with the process of buying a new Franchise including the provision of all necessary information and documentation, handling of deposits and ordering of Franchise Agreements and other legal documents.
  • Assisting existing franchisees to on-sell their business when required and ensure that if present all Franchising Codes of Conduct and laws are adhered too.
  • Prepare and conduct meetings on a monthly basis with all franchisees.
  • Dealing with local government and council requirements.
